Re: What Kind of Table Do You Have??

After much research, I became interested in the Golden Ratio "Mike's Light" table. Very comparable to the other table in every way that I liked. I was sold on it when several long-experienced MTs told me they had that exact table for years with no complaints or problems whatsoever. It really is a g...

Hey there. Haven't been here in a while. The storefront never came to be. Had two sites, deposits in one. There were contractor woes. Same job several bids ranging from $6500 to $41,000. YES that much of a difference. HAd to pull out of the space I wanted and it ended up working out. I had three min...

The sutures she had removed were only her skin sutures. There is at least one more level of suture material at the site. We usually close incisions with 2-3 levels. The sub - Q sutures are very important. Having no idea what she had repaired I cannot know which suture material was used. Widely used ...

DPP is very nice for converting your RAW images. It's goofproof. Who is using PS? I have Elements 6 and...

I have heard the same as Kathryn and Peter stated above. Any healthcare related expense (and your totals need to be some % of your income) would be the healthcare deduction. For MT to be a deduction for your business is would have to be a different MT/establishment each time and it can be considered...

I would refrain from doing direct CFF or anything directly on a suture line.
Although breaking up a scar is a GOOD thing later on in the healing process, many of the sutures we use on the sub-q and skin won't completely do their job until 21 days-6 weeks.

Do you have access to a pool?
Floating in a cool pool helped my migraines.
Also, at the end of a shower.....slowly adjust the water cooler....the coldest you can stand it. Let it run at the back of your neck.

SOMETIMES I am all for giving work away, deep discounts etc..and sometimes not..so depending on the day I'll have different advice. Today: I would limit the FREEBIE gift certificate to a small number of your contacts - ONE each. Let them know that they can purchase more for ___$ off. Ex: can buy a 6...

Just like I could go in to hotel management, or carpentry. And they bring up how I could go in to physical therapy... which requires 4 years of university where I come from, and my massage doesn't fast track me at all. As for me, I am so frustrated for two reasons. First, I DO use good posture. My ...

One early test in school I had to demand a corrected X on a question.
The answer was Hypertension. I knew that and due to habit wrote the letters HTN. That's HTN in my neck of the woods, always has been.

Do not transcribe them. Do not rewrite them. Just make copies and send them along. I have been to several EBT's (examination before trial) for the hospital and IF they need a translation you will be deposed and asked to clarify. The rule is, if they don't ask for it, don't offer it..also only answre...

I wonder if lawyers watch law and order and cringe? Do doctors watch ER and pick it apart? Do police officers watch police shows and say, "that isnt how it works!" I, and my friends cringe when we watch certain tv/movie shows. It's hard to watch ER or Greys for us. We are constantly saying" oh, c'm...

You state that in your professional experience the divide between sexual and therapeutic touch GROWS rather than narrows. However, as I described and you have pointed out, I have found the opposite. To me the distinction has become more nuanced and subtle. Does anyone have a detangler? You state th...
