Massage books on treating ailments?

Post by HarmonyFl2013 » Sat Dec 07, 2013 3:46 pm

I am wanting to purchase a massage book that targets certain conditions, but I forget the name my teachers recommended me. Does anyone know any good medical dictionary books directed to massage?

There are tons of good books about massage for various conditions (cancer, orthopedic conditions, etc.), different types of clients (athletes, children, etc.), and references about anatomy, physiology, pathology, kinesiology, research, psychology, etc. So many that I'm not sure where to start making recommendations. Can you be more specific about what type(s) of things you want to learn about?

if you are referring to trigger points by saying "certain conditions", look for charts and apps that help demonstrate where the trigger points are that need to be worked on when certain body parts are aching. if you are looking for literature, i have found a good amount on amazon for reasonable price.
