Has anyone heard about a Dual Purpose formula change?

Postby TurtleMan on Sat Mar 17, 2018 5:33 am

I recently ran into an issue with a container of BioTone Dual Purpose cream. The consistency is very oily and thin, not at all what I look for in this cream. It also smells different from what I am familiar with.

BioTone suggests that it is near the end of its use-by date (product packaging date was 15 months ago; their stated product life is 18 months), but I have kept containers of this stuff around for a Long time without this happening to it.

The rep on the phone mentioned that there might have been some batches with consistency problems, but gave no specifics.

My question is this: has anyone heard of a recent change in the formula they use to make this product? I am really hoping this is a one off problem. It has been my go to for years, and I don't want to have to go looking another.

I don't have an answer for you, but I can highly suggest Natural Formulations - NL-6 Sunflower Deep Tissue Lotion as an alternative. :)

Just scroll down the page a bit: https://natural-formulations.com/Produc ... otions.htm
