Shared cup

Postby holley on Fri Mar 02, 2012 11:49 pm

Intoxicated by
the staggering
mystery of life
arising from
and returning
to matter
I stumble,
senses rocked
by rhythms
that create
and shatter
worlds with end.
'Every Day is a god, each day a goddess and holiness pours forth in time."

A lark in exhaultation

Postby holley on Sat Apr 07, 2012 9:22 am

With a flood of sound
the revelry
of feathered neighbors
drew me
out of the well of night
into
the laughing arms of dawn
'Every Day is a god, each day a goddess and holiness pours forth in time."

Bear

Encumbered
by matter
something yearns
To be
wild, free of
the pull
of the senses.

This entrapment
bears down,
find myself in the
spell of the sensuous,
unable to sleep,
waiting

There is something
barreling down
the darkness.
'Every Day is a god, each day a goddess and holiness pours forth in time."

Standing at the portal of Immanence
fear and terror loom,
gargoyles,
dutifully
strip-searching
celebrants
relishing
the
moment
'Every Day is a god, each day a goddess and holiness pours forth in time."

The Spa

Postby holley on Fri Jul 13, 2012 3:38 pm

Gazing through steamy spectacles,
into an ocean of stars,
I scootch down deep,
eyes and nose barely above water,
trembling before such monstrosity
.

Desert Flower

Postby holley on Sun Dec 09, 2012 1:12 am

Flowers of the desert
bloom only in the night
beyond withering sun
beyond predators sight.
I saw you.
My hungry eyes were closed
but I saw you,
and I see you now.
'Every Day is a god, each day a goddess and holiness pours forth in time."

Flowers of the desert
take moisture where they can
from the life around them
leaving bones and sand.
I can't see.
Listless eyes wide open,
I'm in the dark....

Sweet life
that gave you form
and me eyes
to take you in
Sweet night
of hands and lips
and breasts and hips
heart in free fall
atumble in sweet terror.
'Every Day is a god, each day a goddess and holiness pours forth in time."

Carrying heat ?

Postby holley on Thu Nov 08, 2018 11:06 am

Beyond
Poor vision and hearing,
plantar fasciitis,
gout kidney stones
and what-have-you,
is a release beyond our wildest imagining.
Unlike memory, distorted each time revisited,
our unfolding in time, having endured burning,
shines a light,
becomes light.
Let us burn.
'Every Day is a god, each day a goddess and holiness pours forth in time."
