Everything is coming in right now... corn, peas, tomatoes, watermelons, bell peppers, you name it, we got it... lol

But I made it through my day, blister and all. Another day, another dollar... (odd how it seems like that's all I make no matter how many massages I do) lol

My parents have a huge garden, of which my mom has been so sweet to make yet anohter delivery. My clients have been the lucky recipients of a good portion of their harvest. Will be handing out cucumbers and okra this week. :)

I feel for you - I REALLY do. A couple weeks ago (long story short) I was holding a plastic coated cable that a 90lb dog happened to be attached to, and SHOULD have let go when he ran... but... I ended up with a significant burn in the crease of the middle knuckle of my right hand.

Curad makes a "Blister Heal" bandage that not only stayed on through massages, but didn't break down with my use of lotion and cream. They're even safe for broken skin. You might want to keep an eye out for them, cause honestly - I was surprised they worked as well as they did.

I like the way New Skin works for me. It has an odd "banana" smell when first applied, but in about 10 minutes it dries clear and does a nice job covering and protecting cracks, cuts, and abrasions. It is flexible enough to permit bodywork, and you can use lube normally. To remove it, simply apply more, then wash the whole bunch off while it's still wet. You can get it at Walgreens and many other stores. I always have some in my first aid kit for home and also at the massage center.

I like New Skin too. I used to have this other stuff I used. I can't remember the name of it, but it stank so badly and burned when I put it on. When I bought New Skin I was so pleased with the results. It was so much better than that other stuff.
