How to use Edit and Delete buttons

Postby Masthera on Wed Jul 06, 2005 11:57 am

Once you have posted your reply or question you may need to edit or delete your post. You will need to use the Modify or Remove buttons.

To Edit your post:
Find the post you would like to edit and click on the edit button found to the top right of the post screen.
This will take you into a posting screen.  Here you will be able to edit your post.
Just change what you wish to change and when done click SUBMIT.
You can also preview the post first and then click submit when finished.

To Delete your post:
Find the post you would like to delete and click on the (x) button.
You will be asked if you are sure you want to delete, answer yes and your post will be deleted.

This will only delete your posts and not an entire thread even if you started the thread.

Only The Administrative members and Moderators will be able to delete items other than their own.
(Admin = all sections; Mods = the sections they moderate)
If you are in need of assistance contact a Moderator.

A member may not delete a post if it has been replied to (i.e. it is not the last post in the topic / one that is "sandwiched" between others) This is a provision of the phpbb forums and not under the control of the administation modifications.
